Artisans on the Avenue is a charming shop filled with clothing from small U.S. designers and jewelry made by local artisans. Owners Lisa Howe and Georgia Doyle offer personalized service, and in 2015, the store got a new look with gray walls and wood tables. Items include dresses, handbags, and beaded necklaces.

Caleb Meyer Studio

At Caleb Meyer, visitors find a one-of-a-kind destination featuring a craft gallery and working fine jewelry studio. Every piece is handmade, and all of the artisans honor the traditions of their craft with rare dedication and skill. The items make for great gifts and include diamond rings, hand-turned bowls, and colorful glass vases.

Campbell's Place

A local institution for nearly forty years, Campbell's Place is an Old World tavern modeled after an English pub. The restaurant's unpretentious atmosphere features cozy booths, dim lighting, and a 100-year-old bar, and it's known as the Cheers of Chestnut Hill. The brick walls are adorned with works made by the featured artist of the month, and owners Rob and Vanessa Mullen strive to maintain the building's timeless feel. Rob is the executive chef, and he focuses on preparing quality meals using fresh local ingredients. Dishes include buttermilk fried chicken sandwiches, braised short ribs, and spice rub glazed salmon.
