ROBERTSON'S FLOWERS
For over 90 years, Robertson's Flowers has set the standard for floral artistry and customer service. Originally a landscaping company by a father-and-son duo, floral arrangements became the sole focus of the business in 1935. Today, Robertson's is recognized as the "Best Florist" by Philadelphia Magazine. The arrangements are one-of-a-kind, and they're made with long-lasting blooms. Flowers include orchids, irises, and long-stem roses.
Robertson's also offers an arrangement called "Generosity Blossoms." Every time the blossom is purchased, the shop donates 20 percent of the proceeds to Fred's Footsteps, a local non-profit organization that helps parents with the costs of caring for a seriously ill or injured child.
MARKET BLOOMS
Located inside Reading Terminal Market, Market Blooms offers fresh bouquets at reasonable prices. Owner Sidney Poor enjoys arranging locally grown blooms and uses their shapes and textures to create unusual designs. Many of the flowers come from a farm in New Jersey. When customers select an arrangement in a purple floral sleeve, Sidney donates to a charitable organization.
CEDRONE'S FLOWERS
At Cedrone's Flowers, every customer is treated like family. The shop offers simple and intricate designs and serves some of Philadelphia's most famous residents. Owner Janet Alvarez has over 28 years of experience. She's proud to say Cedrone's provided the flowers for the award-winning movie Philadelphia. The blooms range from common to exotic with choices including tulips, daisies, and lilies.
